File Transfer Mode | |||||||||||||||
This option selects the end of line translation mode for transmitted files.
Generally "Binary" should work for all files, but some servers require
"Ascii" for web pages or web scripts (cgi, perl, etc.). With mode "Auto"
PyroBatchFTP will use binary unless the file name ends with one of the
extensions in the list (list entries are separated by semicolon, for
example txt; html; htm; cgi.).
| |||||||||||||||
Passive Mode | |||||||||||||||
Some firewalls and FTP servers require the use of this mode to transmit
files. It is highly recommended to use this mode whenever possible.
| |||||||||||||||
Preserve file date on "Get" commands
This option will use the server's file date for downloaded files. Otherwise the files will
get the time stamp of the time at which the transfer occurred. Please not that regular
FTP does not support setting the file time for uploads, so uploaded files will always
get a current time stamp.
| |||||||||||||||
Connection Type and Engine
This setting determines the type of connection (secure or standard FTP) and in case of standard FTP which implementation in PyroBatchFTP should be use to talk to the server. The type selected here will be used unless the script explicitely requests a different type when processing the Connect command.
