   1. ABOUT YONC
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

   This is the Version 1.x of the dial up network companion Yonc.  

   Yonc is a full featured program that assists you with internet
   connection.  It allows you to redial if your internet provider's
   lines are busy.  You can monitor multiple email accounts, online time, 
   line performance, online cost and several other things.  Additionally 
   you can keep your internet connection active to avoid disconnects 
   due to inactivity from your provider or you can use the program to
   disconnect your line after you are idle (or semi idle) for a 
   given time.

   The program automatically switches between English and German 
   language, depending on your system's settings (under Windows 95
   this is the same language as Windows, under Windows NT it is the
   Regional setting in the Control Panel).

   2. DISTRIBUTION, COPYRIGHT

   Yonc is (C) 2003-2005 by EmTec, Markus Schmidt 

   This is a license summary -- see the license information in the 
   setup program for details.

   No warranty of any kind can be given for damage caused through Yonc
   directly or indirectly or any other way. 

   The version of Yonc may be distributed freely via tele-
   communication, shareware dealers or as a free add on for hard- or 
   software products in form of an unmodified ZIP archive, or as 
   unzipped files in an single directory with the name beginning with
   "Yonc" and with no file added, removed or modified.

   The following restrictions apply to distribution.

    * Yonc must not be used in an army environment or for purposes 
      that are related to the military or to arms production.

    * Yonc may be included into shareware CDs if the ZIP file is
      left intact or if all files from the ZIP file are provided
      in a single directory the name of which begins with Yonc. 
      Two copies of the CD must be sent to EmTec, Markus Schmidt
      (address below).

    * An evaluation copy of Yonc must not be sold for more than 
      $7/EUR 4 (that includes shipping). If you purchased Yonc from a 
      dealer paying more (or get knowledge of such a dealer), please
      notify him of this regulation.

   3. INSTALLATION
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

   To install Yonc just double-click the setup file. The windowed install 
   program will handle the rest.

   If you encounter problems of any kind, please try to install Yonc 
   into a fresh directory.

   Note: Yonc should not be installed over an existing beta version 
   of Yonc.

   be found from the help menu of Yonc.

   You can show the help file directly by double-clicking a help file
   from the Explorer.
